AVANT language proficiency testing has begun this week for students in Grades 3 – 9. Administered annually in late winter, the AVANT assessment measures students’ proficiency in Reading, Speaking, Listening, and Writing.
At home, we kindly encourage families to keep in mind that factors such as a good night’s sleep and a child’s overall mood can influence assessment results. Taking time to talk with your child(ren) and help ease any nerves about the AVANT process can make a big difference.
As always, we are here to support you and your child every step of the way.
